Abba Kyari the chief of staff of the Nigeria government serving under President Muhammadu Buhari has passed away due to corona virus infection
Abba, has been battling with infectious diseases since march before he lost to the ravaging Covid 19, making him the most profiled man to die of the disease in Africa.
The 77-years old has earned the trust of President Buhari but has unfortunately lost the battle to the complicated novel corona virus in Lagos State
He contacted the deadly virus in Germany after leading a delegation to meet Siemen’s company last March going by the president’s report
Brief profile of Abba Kyari
Abba Kyari was born in current Borno State, he ranked as an Army Brigadier before retiring, he was also the Governor of the now defunct North-Central State, Nigeria after it was formed from the Northern Region during the military regime ruled by General Yakubu Gowon.
He also worked with companies like Unilever Nigeria Plc and Exxon Mobil Corp.’s Nigerian unit, and held degrees from the University of Cambridge and University of Warwick in law and sociology respectively
