Corona Virus: Police Arrest Fake Health Workers With Adulterated Sanitizers

Nigerian Police in Anambra State have arrested and paraded four fake health workers with adulterated and fake sanitizers amid corona virus pandemic

The arrest was made following reliable information given to men of the Nigerian Police force in the commercial town of Onitsha.

The fake health workers were apprehended on the 31/3/2020 at about 3 pm

The suspects are Anthony Chidubem Oyatubo, Nwachukwu Chidi,Chris C.Okeke and Olisa Moura aged 30,31,30 and 25 years respectively

The Police spokesman of the command SP Haruna Mohammed, confirmed the crime in a statement in Onitsha on the 30th of March.

Mr. Haruna said, the suspects claimed they were from the Federal Ministry Health with medical kits, jackets and caps with inscriptions ”Fight Against Covid-19″ The suspects were arrested with flyers, fake and adulterated sanitizers are were selling to outlets in Onitsha

He added that the suspects were neither government workers nor health officials and produced the face mask and sanitizers in unsafe and unhygienic environment and only took advantage of the outbreak (corona virus)

He has promised that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
