Ukrainian Boeing 737 plane carrying 176 passengers on board crashed near Tehran International Airport, Shortly after take off from Iran, in the early hours of Wednesday

According to CNN reports, no passenger on board survived the crash incident

Ali Khashani a senior public relations official at Imam Khomeini Airport in the Iranian capital to the press that the boeing jet carried 167 passengers and 9 crew members.

Meanwhile earlier reports from Iranian state media reported that the victims were 180, about 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainians Swedes, four Afghans, three Germans and three British nationals among the victims on board going by Vadym Prystaiko Ukrainian foreign minister tweet.

The plane crash is not related to any form of terrorist attack according to Ukrainian Embassy in Tehran, Iran.

Saying the incidence occurred due to technical difficulties.

Ever since then the Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, have canceled his trip to Oman and returned to Kiev due to the plane crash.

Volodymyr Zelensky have posted on social media a message of condolence to all the families involved.

Iran government have began an investigation to ascertain the cause of this the plain crash.
